Her boots were made for gawkin'! Celeb stylist Amanda Reno tells Us how Britney Spears could have avoided these footwear faux pas...
During an October 1 shopping spree in Beverly Hills, Spears erred by pairing a tiny frock with $1,284 Chloe boots. Reno says a Christian Louboutin platform wedge or Balenciaga gladiator sandal would have been a better match for her minidress. As for the boots: "She should've worn them over a pair of skinny jeans with a rock-and-roll T-shirt," Reno advises. "Then it would look like something a supermodel, say Kate Moss, would wear on her day off."

Hence it's Britney who's the fashion faux pas and not the boots themselves - they are pure class and worn by many a sophisticated celeb (Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman etc.) Britney should take a leaf out of their book as she does herself no favours with the outfits she throws together which would not be flattering on anyone!
