Lynne Spears Visits Her Sister's Grave Instead of Brit

I wasn't going to post this because it's like she went to her sisters grave asking "What am I supposed to do about Britney?" instead of just getting her ass on a plane and thinking that to herself as she went there to support her daughter.

While her daughter Britney checked out of the hospital and drove aimlessly around the streets of L.A., Lynne Spears was in tears 1900 miles away, crying as she laid flowers at her sister's grave at the Tangipahoa cemetery in Louisiana.

It's almost a year since Lynne's sister Sandra Bridges Covington died of ovarian cancer at the age of 59. While losing a sibling is a heart-wrenching experience, the prospect of losing a daughter is just as frightening, which leads some to wonder just why Britney's mom has been holed up in Kentwood, La., while her oldest daughter has had a breakdown, been locked in a Los Angeles psych ward and lost custody of her children over the course of the past 36 hours.

The 26-year-old pop star has been estranged from Lynne, who has had her hands full over the past few weeks dealing with the unexpected pregnancy of her youngest child, Jamie Lynn, 16.
