After the flat tire incident, and personal paparazzi escort, she showed up at the Four Season Hotel in Beverly Hills for more paparazzi fun and then like went to the Peninsula Hotel or something like that. Hotel-hopping.

Britney seemed happy enough when we bumped into her - alone except for her assistant Carla - out in Hollywood last night. The trouble all started when we spotted Britney riding on one of her rims out on Sunset Boulevard down by the Capitol Records building.

Despite the damage the pop princess was doing to her $200,000 automobile, she stayed on the road going five miles an hour (much to the displeasure of her fellow motorists) before ultimately abandoning her car in the middle of the road. (Police would later be required to tow it out of the street.)

Britney's night, however, was far from over - she hopped in one of our photographers' cars and asked for she and Carla to be driven to the Summit! Brit spent most of her journey furiously texting, although she did find time for a few words with our shutterbug. We spoke to our photographer about his experience escorting Britney around town - don't forget to check out his detailed observations about the evening!

Finally, after tasking our photographer with taking care of her ride, Britney left her house in Carla's decidedly un-Britney-like car!

The pair headed first to the Four Seasons, then to the Peninsula, where Britney finally called it a night. Whew!

We actually feel kinda bad for capping on the condition of Carla's car - there's no shame in driving anything that'll get you from point A to point B, but we just never thought we'd see Britney in a 1995 Camry with a cracked windshield!
